National Association to Protect Children

The National Association to Protect Children-Education Fund, Inc. was incorporated in 2004. Originally named "Promise to Protect," NAPC received recognition by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization in 2005. Contributions to the National Association to Protect Children are tax-deductible under IRS rules. NAPC's federal tax ID number is 74-3127927. You can view NAPC's IRS recognition documentation here.

Independent Audits
The National Association to Protect Children is audited annually by an independent CPA firm. 

Charitable Registration
The National Association to Protect Children registers as a charity in all states where required. Registration is handled by the law firm of Copilevitz and Canter.

‚ÄčThe National Association to Protect Children participates in the Guidestar program. Our tax filings are available through Guidestar.

Independence From Government Funding

The National Association to Protect Children does not seek or accept government funding. This principle is enshrined in our bylaws. This enables our organization to set our priorities based solely on what we believe will have the greatest impact on the protection of children. It also ensures that we can aggressively fight for child protection and law enforcement resources without any real or perceived conflict of interest.
