For centuries, child abuse and exploitation happened in the shadows. Adults waited for children to come forward and disclose abuse, which was often difficult to prove. Now, for the first time in history, technology is rapidly making it possible to detect, prove, and stop child sexual abuse on a massive scale.
Since 2008, PROTECT has worked to advance technology that can detect abuse and exploitation and rescue children. We work with top computer scientists, law enforcement innovators, policy makers, and leading private sector companies to advance child rescue technology and secure the resources necessary to deploy it.
